Meet the Founder

As Owner and President of Aspen Landscape and Development, Shawn Gauthier oversees all strategic, operational, and project-level facets of the business.

Aspen Landscape and Development was founded following Shawn’s accumulation of more than five years of executive management experience and over seven years of hands-on landscaping and labour-intensive work. His vision for the company goes beyond the traditional landscaping model. He is committed to integrating modern design thinking, creative outdoor solutions, and innovative construction approaches that reflect current trends and deliver long-term value.

Drawing on a deep understanding of both fieldwork and high-level management, Shawn provides direct, personalized leadership on every project. Clients can expect a hands-on approach, clear communication, and rigorous quality oversight from conception through completion.

Shawn’s passion for community development is a defining aspect of his work. He actively seeks opportunities to enhance public spaces and contribute to the well-being of communities throughout Nova Scotia.
